Already awarded the Galien MedStartup prize, the innovation trophy of the Hauts-de-France region and winner of the Bpifrance i-Lab competition, Hemerion Therapeutics won on March 15, 2023 the “Coup de coeur du Public” prize at the 2nd edition of the Healthtech 2023 Trophies organized by France Biotech, in the presence of Mr. Roland Lescure, the French Minister in charge of the Industry.
The French HealthTech sector counts more than 2,000 companies in France. It brings together innovative companies in the biotechnology, medical technology and digital health sectors under the same banner.
Organized by France Biotech, an independent association that federates innovation entrepreneurs in the health sector, the Healthtech Awards aim to highlight the most outstanding initiatives in this sector each year, in 8 categories: Biotech / Medtech / Diagnostics / Digital Health / Young Enterprise / CSR Healthtech / Women’s Healthtech Entrepreneurship / Public’s Favourite.
Selected by a 44-member jury chaired by Lise Alter, CEO of the French Agency for Innovation in Health, Hemerion was nominated in the MedTech and “Coup de Coeur” categories among nearly 120 candidate companies.
Hemerion won the “Coup de Coeur du Public” award, which rewards the company that receives the most votes among the 500 personalities gathered on the day of the awards ceremony at the Théâtre de la Tour Eiffel in Paris.
In addition to the award, this event was an opportunity for Hemerion’s teams to present its technology and clinical development plan to numerous industry experts.
