Journée du cancer du cerveau

Hemerion supports the first French Brain Cancer Day

In close collaboration with neurosurgeons, Hemerion is developing innovative therapeutic solutions for glioblastoma, the most common and aggressive form of brain cancer.
The Hemerion team has joined forces with several patient associations and pharmaceutical companies to support the organization of the first National Brain Cancer Day in France.

The Brain Cancer Day is being organized in France on December 7, 2023, on the initiative of several patient associations: Association pour la Recherche sur les Tumeurs Cérébrales-ARTC, ARTC Sud, Oligocyte Bretagne Ouest, Des Étoiles Dans La Mer – Vaincre le Glioblastome and Plus cérébrale que nous tumeur!

Organized online on Youtube and in Paris at the Maison de l’Amérique Latine, this event aims to highlight advances in research, mobilize institutions and, above all, support patients and their families in their fight against the disease.

The day’s program includes a masterclass on the current state of brain cancer epidemiology, research and treatment in France, followed by two round-table discussions focusing on patient care and day-to-day support.

The day’s speakers includes François Ducray, President of the French Speaking neuro-oncologists Association, Elodie Vauléon, medical oncologist, Luc Bauchet, neurosurgeon, Isabelle Zirnhelt-Roberdeau, physician specializing in physical and rehabilitation medicine, Ahmed Idbaih, neuro-oncologist, Angélique Donati, advanced practice nurse, Jean-Philippe Hugnot, researcher, Didier Autran, clinical research associate, and others.

Our team naturally lent its support to this initiative, alongside Novocure and Gliocure.
