Hemerion once again supports the second French National Brain Cancer Day organized by five patient associations in Paris on December 2nd.
The French National Brain Cancer Day took place on December 2, 2024 in Paris. This second edition is once again an opportunity to mobilize the general public, health professionals and institutions to improve the care and quality of life of patients.
Created at the initiative of five patient associations, the theme of the day is “Brain cancers: what public policies to improve support care?”.
Three roundtables will explore this theme, discussing the problems faced by patients and their caregivers and outlining new solutions:
- Care pathways – How can we improve and strengthen care structures for brain tumor patients?
- Returning to society – How can we better support patients and their caregivers as they return to social life?
- From diagnosis to aftercare – How can we provide psychological support for brain tumor patients and their families?
Fully committed to the fight against glioblastoma, the most common and aggressive brain cancer, Hemerion is once again supporting this initiative alongside Servier, Novocure and Gliocure. Fabienne Lecomte, Head of Medical Writing, and Mélanie Rose, Head of R&D, took also part in the day’s discussions.
